Dip one strip into your water sample for 1–2 seconds, then remove and shake off excess water. Wait 15–60 seconds, then compare the colors on the strip to the chart printed on the bottle to read your results.
For tap or well water, testing once a month is a good habit. For pools, spas, or aquariums, we recommend testing weekly, or more often if you notice changes in water clarity, smell, or fish/plant health.
This kit tests 16 parameters, including total hardness, free chlorine, total chlorine, iron, copper, lead, nitrate, nitrite, pH, total alkalinity, fluoride, bromine, cyanuric acid, and more.
Each bottle includes 100 test strips, giving you enough for months of regular testing.
Unopened and stored properly (cool, dry place, cap tightly closed), the strips stay accurate for up to 2 years. Once opened, try to use them within 6–12 months for best accuracy.
